Looking for the name of a knitted or crochet type of scarf or wrap?

forgive me that i cannot figure out the name of the movie i saw this on...its about a little girl she's like a spy/detective and the boy that played on pacifier is in it as well...in one scene she wears this crochet or knitted top..its like a scarf or wrap but its in a round or circle and you wear it below the shoulders to your elbows..it covers the top half of your arm chest and back..but i cannot think of what this thing is called!
