Do you think our government was involved in the 911 attacks?

I have a couple of friends who waste hours upon hours of time thinking that our government is responsible for the attacks and that our current President is evil and the AntiChrist.....how else can I defend the honor of our Nation and its Presidential leaders against these verbal attacks from my supposed friends?
